We are seeking a dynamic Estimating Manager to lead our Estimating department and drive our pricing strategies. In this key role, you will help us maintain a competitive edge and achieve our business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Estimating department, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of quotes. Develop pricing strategies for both new and existing products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and company goals. Maintain and update pricing structures, including index pricing, to ensure competitive market positioning. Review and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to provide accurate cost estimates. Utilize advanced 3D modeling and nesting software to optimize quoting accuracy and efficiency. Mentor and lead a team of estimators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and sales representatives to ensure comprehensive, competitive, and accurate quotes. Continuously monitor industry conditions, competitive environment, and business opportunities. * What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of experience in estimating is preferred, with a strong background in manufacturing processes and cost analysis. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams. Expertise in reading blueprints and using 3D modeling and nesting software. Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. A high-level analytical ability and process-oriented, working collaboratively across the organization. Highly proficient in relevant systems including MS Excel, high-end estimating and ERP applications.
