What is the Get Hired Now Fair? We are currently seeking Twin Cities employers who are
interested in hiring MPS graduating seniors for entry-level full-time and part-time positions
across all industry sectors. The day will include one-to-one conversations with interested
students and small activities hosted by companies to engage students while they wait for
their interview slots.
Who should participate? Any Twin Cities employer wishing to hire 18-year old students interested
in entering the workforce immediately after high school.
How do I register to participate? Fill out the registration form using the QR code on the flipside of
this flyer. We will add you to our event distribution list and send participant details in mid-April.
What should we bring to this event? A desire to hire talented, young adults into entry-level
positions. Staff who can conduct one-to-one interviews with students. Information about your
company. Applications. Giveaways with company logos (no stickers). Displays that represent your
industry. Mini-activities that students could engage with while they wait for their opportunity to
interview.
A special note about MPS students: MPS students will bring a diverse set of technical and soft
skills to your company. Many of the graduating seniors who will attend this event have acquired
industry-specific technical skills through our CTE career pathway programs and are highly
motivated to enter the workforce. Some of the students will be bilingual. All are dynamic
individuals who will bring value to your organization.
